$995.00The first class is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 6.00 pm and for eight weeks following, through Tuesday, May 6. Each class consists of a guided discovery of the syllabus followed by a formal tasting of six WSET specified wines.
Gain an understanding of the world’s principal and regionally important grape varieties, the regions where they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. You’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence. A detailed overview of the Level 2 Specification is here.
This qualification has a minimum requirement of 28 hours of study time, including 16 hours of classroom time. Each class consists of a guided discovery of the syllabus followed by a formal tasting of six WSET specified wines. Students will sit the multiple-choice examination on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

The wine courses are run in the seating area Putnam Market, located at 435 Broadway. Offsite parking is available nearby, and the Market is a short walk from the bars and restaurants of Saratoga.
Full payment is charged at the time of registration. Your payment is non-refundable but you can transfer it once to another person or to a future course of the same type, if you contact us 14 days or more before the start date. In the rare event Putnam Market has to cancel a course you will receive a 100% refund.
